IFS 2014 final results declared

The government changed the pattern of the IFS Examination from the examination year 2013 by introducing a component of screening mechanism through Civil Services (Preliminary) examination. All the candidates applying for Indian Forest Service Examination were therefore required to appear for the Civil Services(preliminary) examination and qualify the same for going to the second stage(written and interview).

The marks of candidates are likely to be uploaded on the website http://www.upsc.gov.in, within fifteen days from the date of declaration of result, for a period of forty five days.
IFS mains was held at the following centres: Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.

 The IFS (Mains) was conducted on November 22, 2014. It was conducted in two sessions; forenoon and afternoon session.The personality test of the candidates was scheduled from February 2 to 12, 2015 in forenoon and afternoon sessions.
The final result for UPSC IFS has been declared. Candidates who appeared for the test and interview can check for results.

The number of candidates recommended for appointment under different categories are:
General: 32
OBC: 34
SC: 13
ST: 06
